Currently, the Icebergs exhibit holds center stage. Running through September 5, 2016, this massive exhibit fills the Museum’s Great Hall and has been created from reusable construction materials from DC real estate or nearby. A towering iceberg sculpture represents the magnificent size of these natural forms. Visitors will journey to a viewing area inside the tallest structure and can slide down an icy chute or walk across an undersea bridge. Afterwards guests can try a sample of Japanese kakigori, a sweet shaved ice treat.

Vintage toys dating from 1860 comprise the Architectural Toy display. See the early models of Lincoln Logs and Erector Sets. These toys often provided the basic building blocks for children to experiment with architecture throughout time in their DC metro homes.
